Nol Cards are available in four types—Red Ticket, Silver Card, Gold Card, and Blue Card—each designed for different user needs and fare privileges.
The Silver Nol Card automatically calculates fares and deducts them from your balance. Valid for 5 years, it works on all transport modes, Etihad Museum, and 2000+ shops. 2

Gold Nol Card The Nol card offers Gold Class access on the Metro and Tram, auto-calculates fares, valid across transport, Etihad Museum, and 2000+ shops. It's valid for 5 years.
Red Nol offers low ticket prices, valid for use on Metro, Tram, and buses. It can be purchased from any vending machine and covers exact trips. 3

In 2013, the Nol card won Best Prepaid Card at the Smart Card Awards. RTA introduced Smart Nol on 26 September 2013 and increased the minimum balance in 2014. 4
Nol Plus, launched by RTA in 2019, is a rewards program where 1 AED equals 1 point. Points can be redeemed online, with 10 AED equal to 1000 points.5
